about
This is a song I have just recently finished recording over the summer in my basement using all live recordings of real instruments (intro vocals were recorded literally on a cliffside), and this is the first of more to come. It's a song about many things annd I think I'll leave it at that, one of the greatest things about songs is that it can have so many different meanings to each listener... I like that.
please listen and enjoy (headphones are best) and you can download for free :) ... orr if you are willing you may name your own price.
thank you
Corbin

lyrics
Lyrics:
Well the valleys ever distant and the trees ever tall
and as I stand resistant I know that I won't fall
but the mystery inside of you is messing with my head
cuz everything I've learned has been from nothing that you've said
So I'm standing on frozen hillsides looking for the sun
and I know that I can make it but I've only just begun
so darling hush cuz I'm in no rush and theres no place to run
but I'm gonna run
your forever in search of silence cuz somethings always heard
but theres so much more that's happening besides the spoken word
and theres rivers in the distance and they're runnin' for you love
ya theres rivers in the distance and they're running from above
So I'm standing on frozen hillsides looking for the sun
and I know that I can make it but I've only just begun
so darling hush cuz I'm in no rush and theres no place to run
but I'm gonna run
Release me from the talons of your love
leave me stranded and I'll come running'
So I'm standing up over a cliffside looking for a song
but any way that you sing it, it won't be wrong
so darling hush cuz I'm in no rush and theres no place to run
but I'm gonna run
